The Communications Workers of America (CWA) is the largest telecommunications Union in North America, it represents 700,000 workers in public and private employment. More than 1,200 chartered CWA local unions are affiliated. Members work and live in some 10,000 communities in the U.S. and Canada. CWA members are employed in telecommunications, printing and media, public service, health care, cable television, general manufacturing, electronics, gas and electric utilities, and other fields. CWA holds over 1,000 collective bargaining agreements spelling out wages, benefits and working conditions for its members.
CWA Local 4202 has members throughout the state of Illinois. Our members are employees of AT&Tand AT&T Mobility. We also represent a small group of Printing, Publishing and Media Sector Workers in Central Illinois. We currently have approximately 700 members within our local.
Our AT&T members work in Oakbrook, IL. Our AT&T Mobility members work throughout the state of Illinois. We have AT&T Mobility members in Sales, Centers(Stand Alone & Virtual) Engineering, IT, etc.
